Dove vs Hawk

·         Monetary policy is concerned with the supply of money in the economy and the price of that money (i.e., the level of interest rates.)
·         There is often perceived to be a trade-off between growth and inflation: faster growth of money or lower interest rates may make for faster growth but also higher inflation.

·         People who are more concerned about growth and less concerned about inflation are referred to as doves, while those who are most concerned about keeping inflation low are called hawks.
